Consortium/Joint Degree Program Funding Opportunities
The Consortium provides funding for intramural projects related to the societal implications of problems in health, environment, and the life sciences. We have awarded nearly $1.5 million since 2000. Grant opportunities will be announced in November 2020 for work performed during Summer 2021 and academic year 2021-22. Our funding for the past few years has been provided to UMN graduate and professional students only. Awards are provided as a stipend for research and writing and funding for research supplies, or funding for a program or colloquia for the upcoming summer and/or academic year.
Specific requests for proposals will be announced in early November 2020. Please check this website at that time for details.
Examples of previously-funded projects, including proposals and reports, can be found by clicking the links below. Both proposals and reports are posted with permission.
