The latest edition of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology (MJLST) includes scholarly articles based on its 2024 Symposium “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Legal Research and Decision-Making: Opportunities and Risks.” The Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology is a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary journal focused on the intersection of law with STEM disciplines. MJLST is based at UMN Law School, with Consortium Co-Director Francis Shen, JD, PhD, serving as the Journal’s Faculty Advisor. It builds upon the work of the Minnesota Intellectual Property Review (MIPR) which was founded in 2000. In the spring of 2004, MIPR became MJLST, and the Journal’s focus expanded beyond intellectual property to include policy, ethical, and societal issues at the intersection of law, science, and technology. MJLST members have the opportunity to write a note or comment on a STEM topic of their choosing and be advised by a panel of world-class faculty. Staff members also have the opportunity to publish commentary on current law, science, and technology issues on an ongoing basis through the journal’s LawSci blog. MJLST is currently ranked as the #22 journal for science, technology, and computing law by the Washington & Lee Law Journal.
