Consortium member center The Center for Bioethics is hosting an Ethics Grand Rounds webinar on Friday, October 3 from Noon-1pm CT. The webinar is entitled "Public Perceptions of Health Equity and How Communication Can Shape Understanding and Action" and will be presented by Sarah Gollust, PhD, of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.

Prof. Gollust will present survey data on the extent of political differences in the public's understanding of health disparities, share qualitative data on public health communicators' strategies to address these topics, and present emerging research on how information can shape public understanding of health equity and influence public support for policies that could improve population health.

The webinar is free and open to all, and offers an opportunity to gain IPE credits and CEU certificates.
