The BioTechnology Institute (BTI) partnered with Amano Enzyme Japan to present the first America-Japan Enzyme Technology Symposium in May, 2023. Approximately 85 researchers and industry professionals attended the symposium. Sessions focused on two growing areas of the bioeconomy - food and biocatalysis, which is the process of using biological systems or their parts to catalyze chemical reactions.
