Institute on the Environment (IonE) Mini Grants are designed to support and spark collaborative projects addressing environmental and sustainability challenges across all University of Minnesota campuses, as well as Extension and outreach centers. Grants of up to $3,000 may be used for a range of research, leadership, education, storytelling, and outreach activities. Proposals that foster new collaborations — across disciplines and ways of knowing, among partners and people — are highly encouraged. Applicants will be asked to identify a primary domain focus, with topics including environmental justice, clean energy, biodiversity, food systems, planetary health, and more. Apply by April 26. IonE is a Consortium member center.
