Description

The Institute for Engineering in Medicine (IEM) is an interdisciplinary research organization committed to improving and streamlining healthcare by strengthening collaboration between the disciplines of engineering and medicine. IEM's mission is to advance healthcare through research partnerships between faculty in the health sciences, faculty in the College of Science and Engineering, and the biomedical industry. The Institute's research collaborations aim at the development of innovative engineering solutions for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
