The AI Hub serves as the University’s central engine for AI leadership — aligning education, research, operations, and external partnerships under a cohesive strategy. The AI Hub represents the full spectrum of AI, from foundational ethics to cutting-edge technical applications. The AI Hub's mission includes expanding AI literacy efforts for UMN students, faculty, and staff; driving AI efforts that benefit learners at every stage — from Pre-K–12 to professionals in healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and advanced materials; and strengthening ties with policymakers and industry leaders across Minnesota to position the state for long-term leadership.
