Amy Kircher Elected to Consortium Executive Committee

Prof. Amy Kircher, DrPH, has been elected to the Consortium's Executive Committee for a 3-year renewable term. Kircher is director of Consortium member center the Food Protection and Defense Institute (previously the National Center for Food Protection and Defense), which is a Homeland Security Center of Excellence. She takes the seat vacated by Kenneth Beckman, PhD, director of Consortium member the Genomics Center. During his tenure on the committee, Beckman collaborated with other Consortium leaders to guide the development of an ambitious slate of initiatives, including a national conference and lecture series on genomic topics.
