Prof. Michael Georgieff, MD, Inducted to University of Minnesota’s Academy for Excellence in Health Research

Professor Michael Georgieff, MD, has been inducted into the Academy for Excellence in Health Research, the highest recognition of excellence in health science research offered by the University of Minnesota. Dr. Georgieff co-directs the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, a cross-disciplinary clinic and research institute that seeks to advance brain health across the human lifespan. His research focuses on how early life nutrition affects neurocognitive function and is funded by the National Institutes of Health, and he’s published over 250 scholarly articles. Dr. Georgieff is a longtime member of the Consortium's executive committee. The Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain is a Consortium member center.
