Wolf at the National Academy of Sciences

Consortium chair Susan M. Wolf spoke at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC, on Feb. 10 as part of a workshop on returning individual results from genome research using population-based banked specimens. The academy convened this workshop at the request of the National Center for Health Statistics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to guide the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), a program of studies designed to assess the health and nutritional status of adults and children in the United States. Invited participants included researchers from across the country, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and CDC.
