Brocher research residencies
Friday, November 29, 2013

An invitational workshop sponsored by the Brocher Foundation was held November 19-21 in Geneva, Switzerland. The event brought together leading researchers and scholars from around the world to explore the issue of feedback of incidental findings and results to research participants. The workshop was designed to enhance the work of ELSI 2.0 for Genomics and Society, the Return of Results Consortium/CSER ELSI Working Group, and H3Africa. The Consortium on Law and Values is a co-organizer of the workshop, which is a project related to Founding Chair Prof. Susan Wolf's NIH-funded grant, “ Disclosing Genomic Incidental Findings in a Cancer Biobank: An ELSI Experiment.”
