The Consortium on Law and Values is pleased to announce that Francis Shen, JD, PhD, Associate Professor of Law, is the first member of our Affiliated Faculty and Staff Program, which supports interdisciplinary work around the legal, ethical, and policy implications of problems in health, environment, and the life sciences. Prof. Shen specializes in the intersection of law and neuroscience, with a particular focus on the domains of crime and education. He also serves as Executive Director of Education and Outreach for the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Law and Neuroscience. “Prof. Shen’s work fits extremely well with the affiliate program, and we’re excited about the many ways we can support his research and his research will enrich the Consortium,” says Prof. Hari Osofsky, Consortium Interim Director.
