Supreme Court issues decision, Consortium launches discussion forum

The wait is finally over. The Supreme Court issued its verdict today on the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In a 5-4* vote, it ruled that the Affordable Care Act is constitutional and can stand. Chief Justice John Roberts issued the majority opinion. Far from being the final word on health care reform in the U.S., this ruling adds new energy to the debate over how the medical system can best serve Americans and who will pay for that care.
