The National Cancer Institute (NCI) at NIH renewed its designation of the Masonic Cancer Center (MCC) as a comprehensive cancer center last summer. MCC’s community engagement efforts and innovations to high-impact clinical trials were contributing factors in the renewal. With that renewal, NCI has now awarded a five-year, $20.4 million commitment, funding that will help MCC continue to fight cancer through research excellence. MCC is one of only 53 cancer centers across the country to attain the top NCI designation. MCC is a Consortium Member Center and is led by Director Douglas Yee, MD.
